KEEGAN KARSEN KATELYN: September 2008

We signed the kids up for a Tractor Pull at the zoo. The rules for the Tractor Pull were very strict, Dad wanted to give the kids a quick pep talk before it was their turn.

Each of the kids were in different weight classes. Katelyn was the first of our kids to compete. Her weight class only had to get the tractor over the finish line without taking their feet off the pedals. She did it!!! Good job Katelyn!!!

Karsen's weight class was next. I couldn't even get a picture of him on the tractor, because the second he sat down ~ he got back up. He didn't even attempt to move the tractor one bit. The radio DJ said "Karsen knows what he wants, he just came for the free candy". He was the only kid to do this...I guess he wasn't interested, ha!

Keegan's weight class had to pull a trailer with weights in it. He was at the low end of his weight class, so most of the kids he was competing with were a year or two older than him. Some of the kids couldn't even get the tractor moving...it was too heavy. However, each one of them tried their very hardest! Keegan did a great job getting the tractor going and we were all cheering for him! He was the first one in his class to cross the finish line.

At the end of the competition, Keegan tied with 4 other kids...so they had a "pull off". Keegan ended up taking 3rd place. He was definately the youngest and smallest of kids to win. Great job Keegan!!!
